In this position, you will participate in the implementation of the statewide passenger rail and freight programs by providing support in rail planning activities. You will assist with capital planning and reporting, transportation analysis, coordination with federal and state agencies for the intercity rail program; assist with data collection and entry for passenger rail programs; complete quarterly and yearly reports; and represent the department by presenting at seminars.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:A bachelor's degree that includes 15 college credits in public administration, business administration, systems analysis, accounting, information technology, or a closely related field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 college credits in public administration, business administration, systems analysis, accounting, information technology, or a closely related field.

Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.
