The Office of Administration, Bureau of Enterprise Shared Technology Services, is eager to welcome a team-oriented Information Technology Executive 4 to take on the role of Solutions Architect. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the technology solutions architecture, including the target infrastructure architecture, solution delivery, solution transition, and technical disaster recovery for the Commonwealth. Drive your career forward while providing valuable, specialized IT services within the great state of Pennsylvania!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for establishing strategic direction, driving solutions architecture, and coordinating disaster recovery planning using strategic matrixed technical teams. This involves providing leadership on emerging technology standards in disaster recovery and resilience, enterprise architecture models, cloud services, and various technical disciplines such as Software-Defined Data Center, Virtualization, Network, Storage, Mobile, and Legacy platforms. You will also develop and maintain the enterprise Technical Reference Model/Infrastructure Reference Model, in addition to technical disaster recovery architecture, plans, procedures, and governance. The Solutions Architect works closely with key stakeholders to develop and sustain a comprehensive view of the Commonwealth's technical capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Nine years of professional information technology experience that includes three years in a managerial capacity and a bachelor's degree; or

Thirteen years of professional information technology experience that includes three years in a managerial capacity; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years in a managerial capacity.Additional Requirements:

The selected candidate for this position must undergo a fingerprint-based records check to be in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).
