The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is hiring an analyst to fill a Utility Energy Conservation Analyst 2 (UECA) position within the PUC's Bureau of Technical Utility Services (TUS). This position performs professional level work and collaborates with senior UECA staff, other TUS and PUC staff, and TUS consultants to implement the requirements of various mandatory programs under state statutes and voluntary programs approved by the PUC. You will receive training on PUC procedures, laws, orders, and energy regulation generally, as well as learn how to review and evaluate the filings and reports submitted by fixed utilities and the PUC's consultants. This includes learning how to prepare written orders, reports, memos, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.As a member of this team, you have the opportunity to be part of a passionate and fun group responsible with overseeing some of the fastest and most interesting topics facing the energy industry in Pennsylvania. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
This position requires some periodic overnight travel.
Telework: Part-time work from home (telework) may be a potential feature of this position. The successful candidate is required to report to the headquarters worksite daily, unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. Management may discontinue any telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
To be eligible to participate in telework, the employee's alternate (telework) worksite must meet the following requirements:
Within a reasonable travel distance of Harrisburg; and
Within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Utility Energy and Conservation Analyst 1; or
A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Energy Policy, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Physical Sciences, and two years of utility energy related experience; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
