We deliver answers you can act on.The Role:In this role, you will help support the full process of consulting engagements, from supporting proposal development in the sales process, to project managing once the project is initiated, to analysis of data (inclusive of our databases, and across sources), as well as primary research, slide deck development, interim and final deliverables for the client.You are the key to all consulting projects, in that you have the most and deepest interactions with the client, their extended teams and their expectations. You will have roles of increasing responsibility, deal with ambiguous situations, formulate structured thinking, deliver succinct written and oral deliverables as well as expand your research, analytics and communications expertise.We focus on the gamut of Clinical Development, from clinical strategy, clinical operations, regulatory paradigms, and drug path to market. In and across those roles, you will also be asked to assess commercial potential, strategic fit, scenario analyses, all in an effort to provide clients with premium research and outputs.Responsibilities:

The role of a VP, in and across all levels of career progression, is meant for you to eventually operate at four cylinders: Business Development, Project Management / Delivery, Thought Leadership and Training. We will first set a career path, with competencies and your personalized Learning and Development goals. Depending on level, you will be measured on the following initial assessments:

Project based allocation – percentage of your time spent on billable projects, which range from 50% to 90% depending on seniority.

Quality of Work – inclusive of project management, project work and client interactions, you will be assess by your project teams (and sometimes via client feedback) as to how you performed in the project

Craft Skills Development– a consultant needs to have expertise in qualitative and quantitative skills, as well as deck development, storyboarding, error-rates and writing / delivery styles

Communication Skills – written and verbal communications, based on internal or external seniority (who you’re speaking to) are essential factors of success

Each project or a subset of projects will have a quick AAR, after-action review to assess team member’s performance. This is meant to be informative and helpful, so they can be engrained into future work. Performance reviews will be a summary of several AARs as well as 360 reviews, if and when necessary.Consulting takes three abilities for success: ability to deal with ambiguity, being ultra-resourceful and communicating at your best. Since information is not always as best as we’d like, the ability to deal with challenges, learn from them, know who to ask, refine ambiguities as they arise will serve as the backbone of success. Second, data and information are also not in a place where its either complete or accessible. So being able to ask the right questions in primary research interviews, elucidating the meanings of client requests and being resourceful enough to come up with well-researched options of your own will serve you well. Finally, the best data can be impeded by sub-par communications, Whether its acknowledging limitations in your work, stop-gaps in scenarios or addressing questions succinctly when asked, communications is the mainstay of your success in this and any other career.Qualifications: Established track record in clinical domain including clinical trials planning, clinical trials workflow and clinical operations Experience of collaborating with commercial team to package consulting services along with data and technology services Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Ability to communicate clearly and present to C-suite and senior executives in pharma industry Ability to present information clearly, persuasively, and at the appropriate level of detail Ability to prioritize, work under pressure/deadlines, and recognize areas of improvement to accomplish tasks effectively and efficiently Analyze market trends and closely monitor competitors’ offerings; work closely with C&A SC team to come up new offerings and/or revise current offerings Ability to research, gather, and define business requirements from discussions with clients, partners, sales, and other sources Ability to work with Powerpoint presentations and translate ideas/concepts into visuals Work with marketing, release management and education teams on product materials. e.g., white papers, customer presentations, training presentations, videos, webinars, solution brochures, solution guidesThe guiding principles for success at Norstella:01: Bold, Passionate, Mission-FirstWe have a lofty mission to Smooth Access to Life Saving Therapies and we will get there by being bold and passionate about the mission and our clients. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
