Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionCandidates will perform Sub Arc and flux core welding on the pipes coming off the production line. The pipes are primarily mild steel. Experience in Mig, Tig, Stick, and Sub Arc welding is preferred. Given the specialized nature of the product, training on specific types of welds will be provided. Candidates are expected to perform tack welding and 99% flat welds with some vertical welds. Ideally, candidates should have 2 years of welding experience or 1 year with a strong willingness to learn. Production experience is advantageous, along with the ability to read prints.Work EnvironmentThe plant is extremely loud and dirty The schedule includes 4 10-hour shifts and an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work.Pay is $27 an hour to start with room for growth.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
