THE POSITION

The Bureau of Workers' Compensation is seeking a motivated candidate who is able to work with considerable independence as a Workers' Compensation Compliance Investigator, examining complaints against employers, insurers, or medical providers not complying with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act, its regulations, or Workers' Compensation Judge decisions. Apply today and make a difference!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will conduct investigations to determine if employers, insurers, or medical providers have failed to comply with the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act. This includes placing calls to solicit and provide information, searching databases to verify or obtain information, and travelling to various locations throughout the commonwealth to conduct interviews, file criminal complaints, or testify in court proceedings. You will also prepare reports of your findings and negotiate settlement and repayment agreements. Your work will rely on effective comprehension of WC Act and regulations, as well as ensuring that Bureau customer service standards are met in all interactions with internal and external customers. Our team needs you to join us in determining when violations of the Workers' Compensation Act, its regulations, child labor laws, or a workers' compensation judge decision potentially occurred and act to ensure workers' rights are respected. Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This position requires travel.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of clerical work in the review, research, and presentation of records, correspondence, and documents, including two years of public contact experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of public contact experience.Other Requirements:
This position requires possession of a valid class C driver's license.
