JOB SUMMARY
Assist in inventory management during the transition of the college retail store from the current vendor to UGS. · Perform physical counts of inventory, record quantities and codes in Excel, and assign variables such as size, color and logo to produce accurate data results · Identify and move inventory within the store to bring like-merchandise together · Ensure damaged or outdated merchandise is identified and accounted for properly · Fold or hang apparel as necessary to prepare for counting, receiving, photographing, and/or merchandising · Unpack boxes of merchandise to prepare for counting, receiving and/or merchandising · Unpack supplies and hardware and record receipt · Photograph merchandise in preparation for website · Set up point of sale system · Perform all functions in an efficient and accurate manner, as directed by the Transition Team Lead.
