Traffic Control Flagger to be responsible for directing traffic around utility workers. This role ensures the safety of workers, pedestrians and motorists and to keep our communities moving. Responsibilities include: Setting up, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic control devices. Communicate with utility crew members to ensure coordination and safety. Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control measures as needed to ensure smooth traffic flow. Inform drivers of detours and lane closures. Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company and regulatory safety policies.
Age 18+
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, working smartphone.
Valid flagger certification (assistance obtaining cert available).

Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to walk 1-2 miles per day.
Ability and willingness to lift 25-35 lbs. throughout the day, occasionally 50 lbs.
Ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
