DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This position provides independent advanced analysis, design, development, enhancements, implementation and support to ensure efficient and effective operation of the following complex software; 1) Daily operational support of our SharePoint (SP) Intranet and Extranet environments; 2) Configuration of the SP Central Administration for both environments; 3) Administration of SP Software upgrades; 4) Configuration of the SP security policies via the Commonwealth Active Directory (AD) Integration within our SP environments; 5) SP InfoPath Form design/updates; 6) SharePoint Workflows design/updates; 7) SP Library and list creations; 8) Mass document loads into SP for agency users; 9) Assisting Agency SP users as needed; 10) and other Special Project development work as assigned.
The following programming languages used to support the above applications are HTML, ASP, VBScript, SQL, XML, PowerShell and JavaScript. Development tools used are Crystal Reports, SharePoint Designer, SQL Server Management Studio.
Highly desired: Experience in development of ASP.NET applications using VB and/or C#, Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:
⢠Must meet PA residency requirement
⢠Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Applications Developer 1 or Computer Programmer 3; or two years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or four years of information technology experience that includes two years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or a bachelor's degree in any information technology field.
