Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Leader who excels in leading painting teams to operational success. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for delegating tasks, supervising a team, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards. If you are a problem-solver who takes pride in your work, values teamwork, and strives for excellence, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate tasks and supervise team members to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Maintain inventory of painting supplies and ensure all tools and materials are organized.
- Remove old finishes using scrapers, chemical compounds, or pressure washing.
- Estimate time and material costs for painting projects.
- Adhere to safe work practices, including the use of ladders and scaffolding for working at heights.
- Upscale and market company services to clients and potential customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and uphold company standards of professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Crew Leader or similar supervisory role in the painting and finishing industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and invest in team members.
- Excellent time management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in painting techniques, color theory, and aesthetic principles.
- Ability to work extended hours to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit, comfortable with heights, and willing to perform hands-on work.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for achieving goals and exceeding expectations.
