Lead Carpenter/Carpenter/Skilled Helper
Very busy home remodeling contractor seeking Lead Carpenters, carpenters, or skilled helpers to join the team. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, decks, tile work and all residential remodeling.
Our customers choose us because of the quality and cleanliness of our work. We are professional and deliver a quality job, while keeping the customers' homes as clean as we can during the process.
This is a 1099 position. Pay will be based on knowledge and experience. I am looking for an individual person who will be working with myself and other team members at an hourly rate.
Requirements:
Must have a reliable work vehicle, own tools, strong work ethic, strong leadership qualities, and a good attitude. Must be professional and on-time.
Must be reliable and be able to show up on time.
Must be able to communicate with myself and customers professionally without swearing.
Must be able to take direction and constructive criticism when needed.
Must be able to lead other team members if you are leading a project and ensure quality work.
Must be able to meet deadlines for projects.
Must have experience running construction projects if you are going to be a lead.
Must work efficiently and treat homeowners and their homes with the highest respect.
Must be able to lead others or work alone and produce a consistently excellent product.
Do to the physical nature of the job you must be able to lift 50lbs. (Lumber, drywall, mortar, cabinets, and other heavy materials we have to lift and maneuver on a steady basis)
Due to COVID most customers want us to wear masks so you must be willing to wear one while working in customers homes.
Must be proficient in the following areas of construction
1. Kitchen installation
2. Framing
3. Appliance Installation
4. Trim work
5. Cabinet installation
6. Decks- From ground up
7. Painting
8. Drywall hanging and finishing
9. Door and hardware installation
10. Light electrical and plumbing experience would be a plus, but is not required
11. Tile installation
12. Concrete work would be a plus, but is not required
