We are a growing facilities maintenance company looking for qualified full time Maintenance Technician Trainees, Part time maybe possible in some areas.
Technicians work from home in their own territory, But, could be asked to work outside their area for a job on occasion.
Responsible for small repairs in all building trades.
At times be part of a night crew for work in stores after hours. Some nights and some travel with over nights. With food and lodging paid for.
The ideal Technician should have at minimum 3 years’ experience in the Maintenance field and Building trades, But we will consider training the right person.
Should have most tools for small repairs,
Should have repair skills such as, basic plumbing, basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting (including ballasts), carpentry skills, VCT and ceramic tile repair, wall repair and painting, and various other small tasks.
Should be able to work without supervision, with the Ability to self-manage
Should be able to use the laptop, phone and web to complete paper work.
Technicians are on call evenings and weekends for emergencies, although the volume of calls is low.
Requires valid driver's license, clean driving record, drug testing .
Technicians use their own truck or van during the probation period (30 days). Afterwards if the trainee becomes a full time Technician, and able to work on their own, a company van will be a possibility. When using a personal vehicle, Fuel, will be compensated, as well as mileage.
Quality and speed of work is very important.
