MHS is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Capital Projects Department. The Project Coordinator performs diverse and complex administrative duties to support the Director, Planning & Design, as well as the Project Managers throughout the pre-construction, construction, and close-out project phases. The Capital Projects Department utilizes Procore project management software, PeopleSoft financial software, and AIA contract software to maintain accurate record keeping and track various documents essential to the successful outcome of projects. Some of the responsibilities are:Administer multiple projects at one time.Schedule meetings and generate minutes.Initiate and compose letters, reports, contracts, spreadsheets, and graphic presentations.Responsible for electronic filing, contract & purchase order data entry, and project financial reconciliation in preparation for close-out using a variety of office equipment and software applications. Identify and resolve problems that affect the orderly flow of work. Handle special projects and other duties as needed.MHS offers competitive compensation with excellent benefits (medical, vision & dental insurance, a 403b savings plan with employer contribution, paid time off, wellness benefits and free lunches). This is a year–round, onsite, Monday – Friday position with compensation that ranges from $20.40 to $27.24 an hour. Pay is determined based on experience.High School Diploma or equivalent required.A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative support position with a heavy emphasis on data & project management. Experience working with pre-construction and construction projects a plus.Certification as a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) is desirable.Skilled in utilization of Microsoft Suite – particularly advanced utilization of creating and managing Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations (MOS Certification a plus).Proficient in troubleshooting computer systems. Exceptional interpersonal skills including verbal and written capabilities.Attentive to details and accurate documentation.Skilled in providing high quality customer-service and in collaborating with others.Proficient in time management and self-managing one’s responsibilities and multiple competing projects.Candidates must be willing to actively engage with students on a regular basis.Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.
