Jockey Truck Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate a jockey truck following on-the-job training.
Efficiently move trailers in and out of dock doors or designated yard locations.
Use a smartphone for job-related tasks, including sending/receiving text messages, emails, and photos.
Qualifications:
No CDL Required, though prior experience is necessary:
Minimum of 6 months of experience as a jockey truck driver or Class A CDL holder.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all operations.
What We’re Looking For in a Jockey Truck Driver
We’re searching for professional and safety-focused jockey truck drivers to join our team. If you meet the following qualifications, we’d love to hear from you:
Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License: A standard driver’s license is required (no CDL needed).
Driving Experience: At least two (2) years of verifiable driving experience within the past three (3) years.
Clean Driving Record:
No more than three (3) moving violations in the past 36 months.
No more than two (2) moving violations in the past 12 months.
A clean record with no serious preventable accidents within the past three (3) years.
Minimum Age Requirement: You must be at least 23 years old.
