Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the healthcare industry based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The role involves ensuring optimal cash flow through effective management and collection of outstanding accounts receivable from clients. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments. Responsibilities: Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, identifying overdue accounts and taking appropriate action to ensure timely collections. Regularly review and update customer account details and payment histories. Develop and implement effective collection strategies and policies. Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue invoices, and send out regular statements, reminder letters, and collection notices. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, working closely with the sales and customer service teams to address client concerns and facilitate payment. Prepare and present regular reports on the status of accounts receivable and collections efforts. Analyze trends in overdue accounts and recommend process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding collections. Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all collection activities. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is essential Knowledge of Epic Software in a healthcare setting would be advantageous Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is necessary Understanding of standard Accounting Functions is required Must be skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Billing Functions within a healthcare setting is essential Must be capable of handling Cash Activity efficiently Previous experience in a healthcare or NHS environment would be beneficial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Must have strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary Must possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills A degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
