Through this 15-month rotational program, you will be a crucial member of the manufacturing team with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the business by sharing your innovative ideas with team members and leadership. Following the MDP, a participant will be ready to take on a leadership role at one of our Niagara plant locations.As an MDP participant, you will work with the different departments listed below within a Niagara plant and spend approximately three months working on a Six Sigma Project. Some of the departments you would work with include:

Production

Operations

Engineering

Human Resources

Maintenance

Warehouse

Quality AssuranceEach MDP Participant will spend 1-3 months of their program as Production Supervisor in order to fully understand the scope of the role and its importance to the plant's overall performance. This will provide the MDP a chance to engage their leadership skills and be the "go-to" problem-solver at the plant when it comes to people and technical issues. This piece of the program will help prepare the MDP for a Supervisor role upon graduation.Niagara's Mission Statement and LIFE

Participation in a Six Sigma Greenbelt Project

Experience as a Production Supervisor for 6 months

Work in all aspects of manufacturing and complete cross-departmental projects

Presentations on recommendations and project outcomes

Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback

Qualified Electrical Controls Technicians are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read and comprehend electrical and instrumentation drawings.
