Join us and be a part of something truly special.Overview:This exciting Mechanical Engineer role involves designing and detailing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, including vacuum chambers, sub-assemblies and systems. The role demands creativity and latitude, working under the guidance of an experienced Engineer or Supervisor.How you will make a difference:
Design and detail mechanical components
Work to budgets and timelines relative to project tasks
Create Bills of Material in the corporate ERP system
Interface with Sales and Product Management to understand project requirements
Interface with internal machine shop to determine cost effective manufacture
Ensure timely compliance with company workplace policies and procedures, including human resource policies and safety
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum two (2) years experience in mechanical design
Strong 3D CAD experience
Strong knowledge of GD&T principles
Preferred
Two (2) years experience with Solid Edge or other mid-range modeling package
Two (2) years vacuum system design experience
