Company :Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description :GENERAL OVERVIEWCoordinates, facilitates cycle-count program for all inventories managed through the inventory system in all JRMC inventory locations to maximize the accuracy of shelf count vs. computer record. Manages functions of patient charge program and reconciliation for billing. Processes requests for direct order item master products, entering into system, tracks or expedites order for delivery, verifies upon receipt and delivers. Verifies bill of material of goods and services received at dock administers receipts into material management computer system to match accounts payable invoices for proper payment to vendor. Responsible for replenishment of stock, the accurate in taking, storing, issuing and delivering of materials, clean linen, equipment and furniture. Assists manager with projects, cost analysis reports, computer training, problem solving, equipment adjustments, material management computer system reports etc. Utilizes material management software to interpret records to ensure accuracy of inventory. Ability to lift, move and carry items, which weigh more than 50 pounds, is required. Ability to operate all powered equipment is required.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable for integrity of inventories via performance of scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts and physical inventories system wide. Maximize the accuracy of shelf count vs. on hand computer record by selecting, conducting and initiating daily cycle counts or performing annual physical inventories. Utilize expertise to research discrepancies to find/correct and eliminate source of error. Gather and analyze inventory usage data and adjust levels.

Responsible for receipt of materials, verifies materials against bill of material, packing supplies, and on line purchase orders. Administers into system for A/P invoice match for payment. Responsible for resolving discrepancies with Purchasing for orders received. Gives work direction to others relative to the receiving, shipping, storage and delivery of materials.

Manages the functions of the pt. charge program thru administering all pt. charges accurately via Invision. Investigates discrepancies.

Processes requests for direct item master products, entering into system to get order placed tracks or expedites order for delivery, verifies upon receipt and delivers. Process orders in system via entering, batching, releasing and transferring orders for processing by purchasing.

Responsible for stock keeping, replenishment of stock, accurate in taking, storing, issuing and delivering of materials, clean linen, equipment and furniture. Will cross train and rotate into all positions as necessary. Conduct par checks, print picklists, pick and deliver orders, put away supplies and issues inventory as assigned. Accountable for inputting all records, forms and requisitions accurately into the computer system. Must analyze and detail product information before and after processing. The accuracy of information decrements or increments inventory stock levels for purchasing to place orders. Picks, packs, inspect orders. Uses laptop or desk top computers. Handles discrepancies.

Accountable for assisting manager with detail work pertaining to pt. charge price comparisons; employee accuracy charts/spreadsheets; meeting minutes; ordering uniforms for employees; edits, forms/requisitions via material management software; initiates product signs, labels; mail; installs shelves, brackets for shelving in the warehouse, technical support for bar code equipment. Provides training and continuous support to warehouse staff related to material management software system. Gives work direction to others as needed and assures department operation are complete when manager is off.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum

Prior job-related work experience of at least 1 to 2 years is required.

Ability to lift, move and carry items, which weigh more than 50 pounds, is required.

Ability to operate all powered equipment is required.

Must be certified internally to operate powered equipment to meet OSHA regulations.

Preferred

Experience with Lawson/Soarian/Word/Excel preferred.
