As our Implementation Project Manager you will be creating project plans, delivering software implementation in a timely fashion through project plans, and responsible for risk mitigation. Everyday you’ll establish, implement, develop, and control best practices for project management throughout the organization. To thrive in this role you must have experience previous IT Project Management experience.Responsibilities:
Define how the scope, goals, and deliverables of projects should support business goals, in collaboration with senior management. Additionally, this resource establishes project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project lifecycle.
Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to project managers, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion.
Indirectly guide and manage project managers of all projects within the PMO portfolio.
Develop best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone/deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
Accept and assess status report, change requests and requirements documentation to ensure smooth project progression.
Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify key successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Identify risks/issues to project timelines, and provide mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree computer science, business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum four years of experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
IT Program management experience
Project management software experience, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Excel.
Developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
