Provide strategic leadership to drive accountability in meeting cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives. Manage and analyze cost and performance metrics to maintain operational efficiency. Support recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluations, work assignments, salary administration, and recognition/disciplinary actions for team members. Ensure the implementation of lean processes and continuous improvement practices. Provide clear task direction to subordinates within the department to meet operational goals. Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, customers, and industry peers at various management levels. Identify and implement solutions to production-related challenges to optimize workflow. Lead and present briefings in technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders. Prior leadership experience in represented work environment. Through knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with general Aerospace requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Desired Skills: Five years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Exceptional people skills. Previous Lockheed Martin experience. Experience directing manufacturing or varied product types. Coordination of multi-function responsibilities in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of legacy LM Aeronautics support systems. Prior use of MRP systems, preferably JDA and SAP.
