The Inventory Control Supervisor reports to the Inventory Associate Manager and is responsible for providing day to day guidance and support to the Distribution Center inventory team to meet or exceed goals and ensuring policies and practices are executed consistently. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility with or without reasonable accommodations. This includes:Supervising employees in accordance with the organizations policies, practices, and applicable law. Performing other supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;  addressing complaints and resolving problems.Providing direction and guidance to distribution center inventory team Ensuring consistency in execution of policies, processes and practices  Oversees programs and processes such as cycle counting, transfer of product between facilities, product problems and resolution, inventory balances and adjustments, book audits, and invoicing  Coordinates activities with other departments as needed Serve as the main point of contact for corporate inquiries, customers, and vendors Other projects or tasks as assigned by your manager
