Accountant II

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our client’s King of Prussia team. The primary function of this role is to analyze financial information and prepare comprehensive financial reports. The Accountant will play a vital role in determining and maintaining records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities within our organization.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other reports to ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance with reporting standards.

Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, providing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual expenditures.

Implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems to enhance efficiency.

Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.

Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Proficient in applying accounting and mathematical principles as needed.

Skilled in analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues and expenses.

Knowledgeable in federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.

Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant accounting software.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

2-4 years of financial and/or accounting experience is required.
