Data Governance Senior Analyst

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Data Governance:Support data governance program operational activities for all data domains and objects within scope.Facilitate and perform discovery sessions with business data owners, subject matter experts (SMEs) to collect data requirements, data processes, identify key data elements.Document all data information requested to perform data impact analysis, data lineage process flows to provide data governance business solutions.Perform periodic fiscal year calendar reviews within the data governance program:Data Obsolescence ReviewsData Retention & Archiving ReviewsData Security Roles ReviewsData Internal Controls & SODsPerform data audits and impact analysis when required, and/or when data issue is escalated to data governance program.Data Quality:Support and help maintain data quality tool setup, configuration, data business rules, issues resolution, reporting, enhancement requests.Prepare, monitor, review all data quality issue reports are sent to data stewards, data owners and ensure, monitor data corrections are completed within SLA.Prepare, review, and publish monthly data governance dashboard and KPIs.Coordinate and plan on-going data cleansing efforts to clean up duplicate and inaccurate data records of data domains, data objects, data migration requirements within the scope of the data governance program.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve complex data quality issues and provide recommended solution.Perform the role of “gatekeeper” for enterprise data quality standards and processes by enforcing, reminding business partners of data quality standards and processes.Work closely with our IT team business partners to ensure technical solutions applied support data quality standards and processes.Standard Operating Procedures:Acting as the “gatekeeper” to keep standardized format, terminology, glossary, and content of all final documents to be submitted and approved into CEI controlled library documentation.The role should be the administrator of the CEIUS Data Governance SharePoint site and respective DG CEI Controlled Library. Refresh, update SharePoint site as required.Document all data requirements by business process and activity to ensure data governance, data lineage will be documented and implemented as standard operating procedure of the data governance program.Creation and maintenance of all process mapping and flows, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), processes and procedures documentation. Responsible for all supporting documentation such as workflows, checklists, standard forms, reports and knowledge articles, self-service guidesFacilitates process workflows modeling to identify opportunities for improvement (process and automation capabilities), simplification, streamline processes, gaining efficiencies to document end to end use cases scenarios.Client Management:Function as the liaison between Data Governance program and all business functions to ensure alignment and combined efforts to share standard KDE’s, policies, processes of data governance.Keep regular contact, communication with data owners, data stewards, SMEs, IT team and all other business partners to ensure data governance support is visible and available whenever need it.Support data change management activities by providing guidance, advise, training, send data processes documentation as training reference guidance.Participate in projects that would require data governance support whenever required.Manage data governance SNOW tickets by analyze tickets content, requirements, establish preliminary nature of request.Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of the organization and with external consultants, all resources.Salary: $84,000 - $97,000

Serves as a mentor and coach in the development of new inspectors, providing guidance and facilitating knowledge transfer of critical knowledge and skills to new employees and inspectors undergoing the qualification process. Qualification under any appendix in Inspection Manual Chapter (IMC) 1245, 1246 or 1248 is required. Additional qualification under IMC 1246 App B3 is preferred. Additional Information The duty location of this position is King of Prussia, PA. In general, employees are expected to be in the office at a minimum of 4 days per pay period. Telework schedules are approved on a case-by-case basis. If selected, telework will be determined in accordance with Agency policy and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
