Our global pharmaceutical partner is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their team. This role is great for recent Graduates looking to get into a Laboratory/Pharmaceutical career!Job Title: Associate ScientistLocation: Upper Merion, PA 100% OnsitePay Rate: $25.87/hr.Job Type: 12-18 month contract with the potential to convert/FTESchedule: 1st shift standard day shift (i.e. Mon-Fri; 40 hrs/wk; 8 hrs/day; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with early morning/evening and weekend work required occasionally, as neededPAPR screening required after hire & completion of US Medical Clearance/Surveillance required for CW to be completed for Respirator Use (Non-SCBA (OSHA regulated))What’s the Job?

Prepare buffer solutions, conduct chromatographic separations, and perform filtration and concentration operations.

Complete daily manufacturing tasks following standard operating procedures and batch documentation.

Document all manufacturing activities clearly, accurately, and maintain high-quality records.

Ensure production activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations, including working with hazardous materials.

Perform CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Sterilization-in-Place) of product tanks, and dispense raw materials.

What’s Needed?

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or other engineering or scientific field

1+ years of cGMP experience

Familiarity with protein purification process operations and knowledge of cGMP guidelines and standards

Knowledgeable of: Cytiva platform of purification equipment and Unicorn software

Proficiency in executing standard procedures required in addition to some non-routine work.
