Complete list of benefitsCLA is looking to hire a Tax Manager/Director to join our fast-growing Exempt Tax Practice (Nonprofit, Health Care and Higher Ed) team in the Northeast region.How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Manager/Director role:

Serve tax exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Nonprofit industries in a high impact manner, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization.

Demonstrate deep technical skills and have the above related industry knowledge.

Excel at engagement management and operational excellence.

Assist clients with meeting their tax and day to day compliance needs.

Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.

Review and sign a variety of exempt organization returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate.

Develop and mentor staff and oversee client engagement teams.What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and/or professional services firm specializing in tax exempt organizations, or a tax role in higher education, healthcare or private foundation.
