Position Summary: The Senior Project Manager is the liason between the client and the lab, providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients for routine and non-routine projectsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Customer Service/Project ManagementCommunicate with clients and the laboratory regarding general/technical issues and questions about analyses, turnaround times, sample status, results etc. via phone and emailProvide verbal and written quotationsReview client requests and requirements for projectsCoordinate complicated routine and non-routine client projects from beginning to endObtain appropriate work authorization documentsIdentify and investigate any administrative or technical problems and coordinate resolution/corrective actionProject Set-upCreates projects in LIMs based on quotes, existing projects or information provided by the clientCreates bottle ordersSchedules courier as neededPerform updates to existing Projects when neededSample ReceiptReviews sample loginsGenerates subcontract paperworkSends client sample receipt confirmationReviews draft invoiceConfirms that any client needed information is recorded in LIMsReportingCreates and issues final deliverablesInvoicingReviews final invoice before issuing to clientPerforms invoice corrections as neededAssist with financial, purchase order and late payment issues as neededOtherRegular attendance and punctualityServes as a mentor to less experienced Project ManagersOther duties as assigned Role is 1st shift, 8am-5pm M-F
