Work Schedule:
July through December - Monday through Thursday from 6am-4pm, Fridays off!
January through June-Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4pm
The Tax Accounting Clerk will be responsible for:
Balancing and reconciling accounts
Collecting and depositing checks
Posting payments
Handling cash and credit card payments
Auditing delinquent accounts
Processing individual tax and employer returns
Preparing bank deposits
Accurately entering data into the computer system
Assisting taxpayers in-person, over the phone, and via email
Qualifications:
Strong MicrosoftExcel skills
Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
Ability to do repetitive tasks
Willingness to sit at a desk most of the time
Strong typing and data entry skills
Detail oriented / Strong attention to detail
