Casey Jones' Restaurant at Paradise Station is expanding and needs an experienced cook to assist with breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
The cook is responsible for executing food production and ensuring a high level of quality and service for each service.
The cook reports to the Executive Chef.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Prepares made to order food for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Maintains a clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen in line with health code regulations
Ensures food quality is high and prepared to order
Prep all necessary breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes and ingredients
Takes stock of inventory and provides feedback to Executive Chef
Transitions from breakfast to lunch service
Ability to run and maintain breakfast, lunch, and dinner service effectively and independently when needed
Demonstrated ability to execute all variety of egg preparation (over easy/hard/medium, poached, scrambled, omelet)
Ability to work independently or in a team environment as the situation dictates
ServSafe Certification a plus
Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
Banquet and/or catering experience a plus
This position is a full-time (40 hours), hourly position.
$19+ depending on experience. Must have minimum of 3 years of fast casual restaurant cooking experience.
Must have own reliable transportation (Casey's is close to Lancaster but not on the RRTA bus route).
