I am in need of a part time caregiver for my 34 year old son who has been ill. We have a wonderful team in place to help, we need one more person to fill 4-12 hours per week and as a back up to fill in when someone on our team is off or ill. Hours may be weekday or weekend, in 4 or 8 hour shifts of 9-1pm or 1-5pm or 9-5. The schedule varies and is somewhat flexible. Location is new apartment complex on Harrisburg Pike behind Wegmans in Lancaster.
My son is intelligent and articulate but has some allergy issues to most foods and scents as well as some memory issues.
You will need to pass a background check.
You will be doing light housekeeping, perhaps one load of laundry per week, meal prep and med reminders, occasional trip to a local doc appointment.
There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for the caregiver.
NOT paid under the table, you will receive a W2.
MUST have you own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, be fully vaccinated and boosted and be a non smoker.
Caregiver experience preferred.
Pay is $14.09 per hour with time and a half for hours over 40 (although this is not likely at this time).
