I am in need of a part time personal assistant for my 35 year old son who has been ill. We have a wonderful team in place to help, we need one more person to fill Fridays from 9-5 and will also need to be available for occasional Mon and/or Tues from 9-5.
Location is The Crossings apartment complex on Harrisburg Pike behind Wegmans in Lancaster.
This position will be open Dec 15, 2025.
My son is intelligent and articulate but has some allergy issues to most foods and scents as well as some memory issues. Full training is provided and there is a possibility of additional hours in the future. He does NOT need help toileting or bathing.
You will need to pass a background check.
You will be doing light housekeeping, perhaps one load of laundry per week, minimal meal prep and med reminders.
There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for the caregiver.
NOT paid under the table, you will receive a W2.
MUST have you own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, be willing to wear a mask as my son is immunocompromised and be a non smoker.
Caregiver experience preferred.
My son's care is paid by the state at the rate of $14.10/hour, we are hoping this increases, but right now that is the rate.
