I am in need of a part time personal assistant for my 35 year old son who has been ill. We have a wonderful team in place to help, we need one more person to fill Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5pm. Location is new apartment complex on Harrisburg Pike behind Wegmans in Lancaster. There is a possibility of additional hours during the week if wanted.
My son is intelligent and articulate but has some allergy issues to most foods and scents as well as some memory issues. Full training is provided and there is a possibility of additional hours in the future. He does NOT need help toileting or bathing.
You will need to pass a background check.
You will be doing light housekeeping, perhaps one load of laundry per week, minimal meal prep and med reminders.
There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for the caregiver.
NOT paid under the table, you will receive a W2.
MUST have you own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, be fully covid vaccinated and be a non smoker.
Caregiver experience preferred.
My son's care is paid for by the state. The current rate is $14.11/hour, we are hoping that rate will go up later this year.
