Specific Responsibilities
Repair or replace electrical components of equipment and systems
Troubleshoot electrical issues with motors, controls, sensors and systems.
Install and program electrical controls including PLC and VFD.
Ensure safe operation of all electrical systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and systems
Minimize equipment and systems down time.
Maintain inventory of repair parts and electrical assemblies.
Maintain detailed electrical diagrams.
Provide electrical safety training to mechanics and production workers.
Required Skills and Experience
Ten years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using Allen Bradley software.
Experience working with low voltage and high voltage including 3-phase electrical systems
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Proficiency using electrical diagnostic tools.
Knowledge of National and NJ electrical safety code.
NJ Master Electrician Licensee Preferred
