Lancaster Hyundai is a large and growing automotive dealership that has an excellent career opportunity for you in the Business Development Center. Our Business Development Specialists are pleasant and knowledgeable professionally assisting car shoppers online and by telephone in scheduling appointments within the dealerships.

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for the development and retention of vehicle sales for the business by developing rapport and building value with customers including those who are in various stages of the car buying process to encourage them to make an appointment to visit our dealership and meet with our Sales staff along with promoting various programs and services to existing customers.

Duties Include:

Receive and promptly respond to inbound calls and internet inquiries

Place outbound phone calls and emails to potential and existing customers

Identify customer needs and schedule appointments for the sales staff

Follow-up on Internet Customer emails according to a pre-determined timeline

Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

Effectively utilize lead management tools

Notify necessary departments when an appointment is scheduled

Confirm scheduled appointments

Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made

Reschedule no-show Customer appointments

Execute prospect follow-up calls and gauge customer satisfaction

Follow up with Sales & Service Departments to determine if appointment was kept and the outcome

Log all Customer comments

Maintain/update Customer changes in database

Generate letters, postcards and emails according to a pre-determined timeline to automatically schedule follow-up reminders for next contact

Compile all necessary reports, forms and other documentation on a timely basis

Contact Customers based on current marketing initiatives

Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals

Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude at the first point of contact with any potential client/customer

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products

Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR and background check
