As the Video Producer for Lancaster Farming, you will be responsible for creating compelling, high-quality video content for our diverse audience of farmers, agricultural professionals, and enthusiasts. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, organized self-starter with curiosity and drive, someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a fun but hardworking team.Responsibilities:Content Creation: Plan, shoot and edit video content for Lancasterfarming.com, including news features, interviews, and promotional videos that align with the publication's voice and mission. Content will be mostly shortform to medium length news or feature videos.Collaboration: Work closely with the digital team to brainstorm and develop video content ideas, ensuring alignment with editorial calendars and overall digital strategy.Optimization: Optimize videos for different platforms, including website, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring content is engaging and tailored to each platform's audience.Post-Production: Manage all aspects of post-production, including editing, sound design, and adding graphics and captions as needed.Equipment Management: Handle video production equipment, including cameras and audio gear, ensuring all equipment is maintained and used properly during shoots.Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production and digital content creation, continuously exploring new techniques and technologies to enhance video quality and engagement.Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
