The shadowlight group, a visual communications studio, in Leola is seeking experienced carpenters.
Duties include building sets and installing products
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Pack and unpack cabinetry and other home/building products
Build, Install and Finish wall and ceiling units including spackling and sanding
Cabinetry installation
Flooring installation including tile, vinyl, engineered wood
Priming and painting walls and trim
Participation in set tear down and clean up and maintain clean work area and studio
Perform work within established department policies and procedures to maintain company’s quality standards
Monitor company resources to ensure the necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition to expedite the flow of work through the area
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Three years experience
High school diploma or GED
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Manual dexterity
Conscientious work habits and superior attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Must be available for overtime hours as required
Applicants should also be able to:
Stand for long periods of time
Lift and move up to 15 lbs on a regular basis
Lift items weighing approximately 50 lbs
Climb stairs/ladders
Perform basic math calculations
Work under pressure
Differentiate between colors
Use hands and fingers all day with ease
Walk, reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, stoop, kneel and crouch
