Shipping/Receiving Worker - Langhorne, PAKelly Services is seeking a highly motivated and efficient individual for a shipping/receiving position!This position will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth processing of orders and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to specified guidelines and deadlines.
Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control processes, including receiving, counting, and restocking products to ensure accurate stock levels at all times.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and proficiently following all safety guidelines.
Organization: Maintain and organize the warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and ensure easy access to products for order fulfillment.
Cleanliness and Safety: Keep work area clean and hazard-free, complying with all safety regulations and proactively identifying potential safety hazards.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and improve warehouse processes.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of warehouse processes, methods, and techniques, suggesting new ideas and initiatives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior warehouse or fulfillment center experience preferred.
Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse machinery is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and handling repetitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the correct processing and shipment of orders.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment.
Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate inventory management software and other warehouse systems.
Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
