Description We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. The role involves handling a variety of accounting tasks, with a focus on managing accounts payable, utilizing various accounting software systems, and handling a high volume of invoices daily. Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems to accurately manage accounts payable. Ensure efficient processing and coding of company invoices daily. Maintain and update financial records with recent transactions and changes. Handle a variety of accounting functions, including accrual accounting and auditing. Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Concur for specific financial processes. Leverage skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing business processes. Apply knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments and collections. Regularly monitor customer credit records and take necessary actions. Efficiently manage high volume of invoices, around 50-100 per day. Handle accounts receivable tasks such as applying cash receipts and light collections.Requirements Possess comprehensive knowledge in Account Coding and Accounts Payable (AP) Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Experienced in ADP - Financial Services and Concur software Familiar with Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting Skilled in Auditing and Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment Proactive in problem-solving and highly organized Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
