As a Fiscal Technician, you will provide bookkeeping and accounting services, as well as review and process financial records and documents for quality assurance. Work will be completed in close collaboration with the County Fiscal Operations Officer to ensure compliance with all requirements of the fiscal operations of Lebanon County Children and Youth Services. This position assists with the classification, analysis recording, review, processing, controlling, preparation, and maintenance of a variety of county, state, and federal fiscal, accounting and banking records, financial statements, and reports. Additional duties also involve providing assistance in the development of annual fiscal year budgets, as well as assisting with monthly reviews and yearly audits relating to in-home service providers.Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40 hours/week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Fiscal Assistant;or
Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, or Schuylkill counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
