Increases sales and maintains target gross profit margins. Increases the Company’s visibility and enhances its image.
Establishes and maintains competitive databases including, but not limited to, company profiles, products, pricing market share, and discount structures.
Develops a complete understanding of the Filters & Rotomolded Tank Assemblies marketplace, its competitors, and the associated products and pricing.
Organizes product catalogs, product launches, and product sales efforts. Promotes, grows, and trains the distributors and direct customer base on the products by creating the tools to accomplish this task.
Develops new product ideas and presents the justification to the Company Management. Submits product sales forecasts using regional managers' input and works with the Directly Marketed & Products Sales Manager to develop sales budgets for the product groups. Analyzes and supplies market data to the Company.
Recommends, establishes, and manages the appropriate distribution channels that give the Company access to the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) market and the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) market.
Supports our existing relationships with our traditional distributors and the Regional Sales Managers and Direct Market Sales Managers.
Identifies new channels for various products and product lines. Works in concert with Company personnel with related negotiation and supply of contracts.
Develops and implements the necessary advertising and promotional programs needed to accomplish sales goals.
Supports, recommends, guides, directs, and/or implements strategies to meet the sales objectives set by the President. Manages the customers’ expectations when quoting specialty items & systems (such as RT filters, etc.). Makes contacts with customers and suppliers, such as International contacts before issuing quotes.
Hard Skills
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience within some sort of manufacturing environment, preferably hydraulics
Experience in Product management, or the fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Work Environment
On site with 25% - 30% travel to customer sites. Travel is throughout the US and would be a day or two at a time
