A key technical role, an integrator also has essential responsibilities in project coordination. As the final step in the project process, integration is key to high-quality delivery before system handover to the client. An integrator exists on the uniquely TAIT line between technology and art, helping to create the best shows and spectacles in the world.Responsibilities
Coordinates integration of disparate elements into one cohesive project
Comprises part of field engineering and installation team, ultimately implementing technology on site for the customer
Provides boutique customer service for TAIT’s custom business
Fulfills shop testing and setup responsibilities, especially for complex elements
Plays key technical role throughout project lifecycle
Communicates frequently with rest of project team about tasks and risks
Maintains a basic understanding of all integration-related technical fields
Develops an expert knowledge of one or more integration-related technical fields
Establishes and cultivates good relationships with clients, stagehands, electricians, ironworkers, project managers, and many other personnel
Travels frequently to job sites domestically and internationally
Works closely with service & support on post-project work
Promotes and contributes to internal standards and processes
Stays well organized and pays close attention to details
Qualifications
Education: HS Diploma/GED; Associates/Bachelors degree preferred
1+ years of experience as an Associate Integrator or TAIT-adjacent role
Formal Technical Background
Theater/Entertainment Experience
Demonstrated Leadership Roles
Strong written skills
Ability to Travel & Work in “Entertainment Conditions”
Willingness to travel on average 100 days per year
