Lead Performance Analyst

Come join our team!We work closely with portfolio managers as well as client facing groups to explain the performance of the portfolios and what the drivers are inclusive of trading strategy, fund positioning, market conditions, and accounting specific impacts. We support >200 funds and $7T in assets globally!Responsibilities:

Conducts in-depth performance analysis, attribution and reporting of investment portfolios.

Produces accurate performance measurement, attribution and analytical responses to queries and requests from internal and external clients.

Teaches analytical/technical skills and business acumen.

Provides thought leadership and support to the global operational model. Assists in maintaining oversight process of all outputs, analysis, and ad hoc responses to ensure quality levels in accordance with expected results.

Builds and implements complex calculation models. Evaluates risk and performance. Interacts with the Investment Management and Finance Risk to help inform them of results in order to aid the investment management process and enhance risk adjusted returns. Keeps up to date with industry standards relating to performance methodology, attribution analysis and benchmark construction.

Identifies new opportunities in meeting client needs. Identifies recent notable activity, assesses information, and communicates key findings and trends in a timely manner to senior management. Maintains open communication with internal partners to ensure a smooth flow of information and processes.

Proactively utilizes the resources and systems available to enhance process efficiency, applying a risk and control measures.

Creates and maintains metrics to evaluate effectiveness, productivity, and scalability.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties, as necessary.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; interest in pursuing of CIPM or CFA preferred.

Minimum of three years investment experience.

Working knowledge of Vanguard's funds and the investment industry.

Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.

Strong quantitative/analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
