Senior Behavioral Scientist, Specialist

Consult with business partners to identify gaps between desired investor action and current behavior; develop hypotheses based on psychological and consumer behavior to explain the gap; devise interventions that will either leverage or counter the behavioral biases ID; develop experimentation plan that may include survey design in addition to data collection; analyze data from experiments to determine impact of interventions; develop recommendations and deliver to key stakeholders to influence decision making. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days. Requirements: Requires Master's in Psychology, Marketing, or closely related field and two years of experience in job offered and/or as a Principal Investigator - Behavioral Science and/or Lab Manager and/or Lecturer and/or Junior Research Scientist - Cognition Lab. Background in education, training or experience must demonstrate mastery of key behavioral principals grounded in psychology, consumer behavior, and behavioral economics including common biases, novel sources of utility, prospect theory, choice architecture, game theory, temporal discounting, and heuristic determinants of choice; advanced experimental design including power and sample size calculations, random control trials, within and between subject designs, A/B/n, multivariate, and multi-armed bandit; advanced survey design using Qualtrics or similar tools; data analysis using R, Python, SQL; statistical tests for normal and non-normal data sets including Analysis of Variance, Mann-Whitney, Chi-Squared, Student’s t-test, and regression modeling.
