Looking for a part time handyman/property manager in Meadville or very nearby.
The position will have a biweekly payment schedule for the management and small handyman tasks portions (fixing doorknobs, sinks, toilets etc.) and additional compensation for larger construction (installing flooring, drywall, serious plumbing etc.).
The management and small handyman tasks portion will be roughly 1-5 hours a week of time. Payment will be $200 biweekly.
The construction portion will be paid per job as needed. The more you’re able to do the more you can get paid. If you can install flooring, drywall, do plumbing and large construction in general, then these are all big pluses.
General tasks include, but not limited to:
- Handling maintenance requests (fixing small things like a broken sink, patching drywall, fixing cracked floorboards etc.)
- Managing tenants (informing owners if anyone is unruly, enforcing rules/regulations, doing small administrative tasks like handing out leases and emailing to owners etc.)
- Procuring/disposing supplies (bringing washing machines, mattresses, disposing of construction debris etc.)
- Be available for frequent 5-15 min phone calls with owners.
Most weeks are light at 1-5 hours (quick fixes, check-ins, phone calls etc.). Some weeks will require more time (30-40 hours) for larger construction jobs for additional compensation. Owners will mostly allow you to make your own schedule that is convenient for you. Must be reliable and able to work independently.
Spanish speaking applicants preferred but not required.
