Description As an Accounts Payable Specialist with a Robert Half client, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and reconciling invoices, verifying the accuracy of payment data, and resolving discrepancies to maintain the integrity of the company's financial records. Position Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices accurately and efficiently within established timelines.
Verification: Verify that invoices contain the necessary approvals, match purchase orders or contracts, and accurately reflect the goods or services received.
Payment Processing: Process payments through various methods, such as checks, electronic transfers, and online payment systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, accounts payable transactions, and related accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions, invoices, payments, and correspondence for auditing and reporting purposes.
Compliance: Stay informed about relevant accounting regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on accounts payable activities, aging analysis, and other key performance indicators to support financial analysis and decision-making.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor interaction and teamwork.
Experience handling invoices
