Assist in the administration of safety programs at the Mill Hall plant, and specifically all aspects of the Human Performance (HP) safety program and our associated Safety Value Teams (SVTs). Work with the Site Management team and the SHE department to maintain all systems comprising these programs and to keep all information systems and databases up to date. This position requires a "self-starting" mentality and will have freedom to be creative at designing new ways of communication and marketing for safety programs and our safety vision. This is an opportunity to directly impact our safety at the site! This position will also be expected to assist in other site administrative tasks outside of the safety programs as assigned. These can include general administrative tasks and work in people engagement activities both inside and outside of the plant.Key Duties:
Manage Departmental SVT Boards
Prepare materials for posting on SVT boards and around the plant
Clear and prepare boards for current month usage and attend meetings
Update SVT binders
Take photos of complete boards at the end of the month
Archive the board photos in the local drive
Coordinate Site Safety Meetings
Coordinate with vendors as needed on meeting materials and venue
Order and prepare supplies for the meeting as required
Order SVT signs and marketing materials
Coordinate meals as applicable
Maintain attendance logs
Advertise meetings to the site
Gather Site Safety Data
Collect and consolidate site metrics
Print and post on SVT boards or other locations as required
Maintain the Safety Value Action List
Maintain SVT meeting attendance logs
Maintain site management and cross attendance
Populate action log from SVT boards and update with progress
Participate on the Human Performance Champions TeamExperience required: 2-5 years experience as an administrator. Basic office skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are necessary. Ability to bring your ideas and those of others to completion with minimal supervision.Education / specialized training required: AA or AS degree in Business or related field preferred.
