Turner & Townsend seeks an Intermediate Cost Engineer a construction background to work in a client facing role with one of our high-profile Oil and Gas clients.   The role is to provide Cost Engineering services across multiple projects as part of the client’s shared service team, with a specific focus on analyzing cost data in order to identify project risks and opportunities, this role will positively influence the outcome of our clients’ projects/events. 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off! This role is also 100% site-basedKey Elements: Utilize the client’s standard tools and processes as appropriate for each project’s life cycle development and execution phase, maintaining consistency in cost basis through rigorous adherence to the Project controls processes. Create accurate monthly cost reports, identifying variance from the plan on commitment, value of work done, changes etc. Provide Project Management support in the development of cost breakdown structures, work breakdown structures and documenting cost, time and resource sheets. Implement the change management process for projects, providing guidance on trend analysis and the assessment of change impacts on cost. Maintain and promote realism in the cost forecasts in the face of commercial pressure and optimism from project teams. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
