Intermediate Cost Engineer - Oil & Gas Construction

Turner & Townsend seeks an Intermediate Cost Engineer with a construction background to work in a client-facing role supporting a major capital construction program. The role provides cost engineering services across multiple projects, with a focus on cost reporting, forecasting, change management, and identifying project risks and opportunities to support informed project decision-making.Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts, and trend analyses.Analyze project cost data to identify risks, opportunities, and potential variances.Support development and maintenance of project budgets, cost breakdown structures (CBS), and work breakdown structures (WBS).Implement and maintain project change management processes, including trend tracking and impact assessments.Track commitments, expenditures, accruals, and contingency usage throughout the project lifecycle.Support project teams with cost forecasting, estimate-to-complete analysis, and cash flow reporting.Assist with the preparation and review of project controls dashboards, metrics, and performance reports.Provide cost engineering support during project planning, execution, and closeout phases.Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.Maintain project controls documentation and records in accordance with established procedures.Support benchmarking, lessons learned, and historical cost data collection initiatives.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
