Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Your role:

Initiating and executing production process and technology development activities, in the context of new product generation as well as product and solution technology roadmaps.

Ensuring adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications, and release for internal and external manufacturing.

Ensuring manufacturing activities, inclusive of production, process controls and process validation, are performed in accordance with FDA CFR 21 Part 820 and ISO 13485.

Providing manufacturing input in the development process focusing on design for manufacturability, assembly, and test (DFMAT). Being accountable for process and manufacturing requirements based on product specifications and test requirements generated from product design.

Ensuring process and equipment capability meets requirements, while providing manufacturing input into and implementation of design changes that impact Philips factories and suppliers and applying lean manufacturing principles.

You're the right fit if:

You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with strong knowledge of design transfer activities and process and equipment improvement.

Your skills include demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects and lead/work with others on cross functional teams; strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to provide technical leadership in ambiguous situations; demonstrated experience in validation/documentation and manufacturing; lean manufacturing experience in a regulated environment – strongly preferred.

You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Philips Transparency DetailsThe pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $88,000 to $150,000The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
