Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Load, unload and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
Stay fit doing hands-on work. You can expect to lift up to 80 lbs. Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights.
Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures
Perform cycle counting to ensure the accuracy of perpetual inventory records, maintaining the most up to date, efficient methods of inventory control available.
May supervise part-time Material Handler 1, 2, and 3. May organize, implement, adjust, and monitor cycle counts. May include back-up driver duties.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.QUALIFICATIONS
4 years prior experience in warehouse, inventory control or related field, or equivalent training
18 years of age
A valid driver's license and good driving record, as needed
High school education or equivalent
Ability to supervise or lead others
Outstanding organizational skills
Able to process a large volume of paperwork with good attention to details
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
Creative problem solver
Excellent math skills and understanding of basic accounting methods
Computer literacy a plus
Good memory and able to work accurately with lengthy part numbers
Basic reading skills required
Above average scanning accuracy
Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures
Neat and well organized
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds depending on the location, and work at heights of 25 feet on a regular basis
Ability to be trained and use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts
Work on his/her feet for extended periods of time
Willing to work overtime as needed
