Tasks and Objectives:Participate as a member of the PA CareerLink staff in general activities to serve employers and job seekers including but not limited to Basic career services, group recruitment and outreach, career resource area assistance, job and career fair booth representation and other required functions.Provide initial assessment activities utilizing interest inventories, aptitude and achievement assessments or other means of obtaining relevant data to insure suitable and appropriate assignment of services for job seekers.Be cognizant of training available on the State's Employment Training Provider List (ETPL), be familiar with the targeted statewide, regional and designated local area's industry clusters and high priority occupations.Assist in the facilitation of Basic services including, but not limited to: career resource area computerized registration; labor market information; self-initiated job search activities; financial aid research; available training programs and sites; referrals to appropriate partner programs; needs based assistance; and supportive services.Collect and submit necessary paperwork required by funding agencies to document all facets of program enrollment and participation including, but not limited to: eligibility and data validation; employment obtainment/maintenance; services such as attendance records, grate attainment, diplomas or certificates; and back-up materials for in-house support service requests using computerized and/or other designated mechanisms.Timely input of all Basic, Individualized, Training and other services on assigned CWDS/system of record and/or paper systems to document sequence and types of services accessed by customers.Deliver case management services in relation to job seekers by being knowledgeable of PACL partner agency services within the one stop network, become familiar with other human services and support systems throughout the community and share information with co-workers to increase and develop additional resources.Develop jointly with participants an employment plan/individual service strategy motivating them for the attainment of established benchmarks, modifying the plan as needed to achieve success, obtaining written client sign-off for the plan and updates as designated by the specific program while actively involved.Prepare in a timely manner all materials related to Individual Training Accounts, Work Based Learning contracts and/or On the Job Training contracts, as well as, the other required documents for these programs.Have a working knowledge of schools and programs on the State's ETPL and those within the local area or contiguous counties as well as information related to job specifications, requirements, pre-requisites, education needed and labor market demand.Have a working knowledge of employers in West Central's two-county area in order to execute OJT contracts to meet the hiring needs of employers. Utilize employer contacts to introduce Work Based Learning programs including contract and pay roll requirements.Promote and encourage participants to seek and maintain employment. Provide coaching and supportive services and/or incentives through the retention period to increase the likelihood for success and attain program performance goals.Establish cordial and productive relationships with all internal and external organizations and individuals for purposes of outreach, recruitment, collaboration and other activities to benefit the impact of the PA CareerLink system and West Central in servicing job seekers and employers by effectively working as part of various team configurations.Travel to required meetings, training sessions or other functions as directed and receive relevant PA CareerLink certification as specified by the management of West Central Job Partnership.Perform all above duties, as well as any other duties as assigned by the CL Program Coordinator, ETS III or other senior management staff of WCJP, in a timely and accurate manner.Be familiar with WIOA, TANF, and/or EARN eligibility and be able to input these applications into CWDS/system of record if necessary or if required for your programmatic area.Participate in the recruitment efforts and implementation of other agency sponsored skills training projects.A valid PA drivers license, reliable transportation and ability to pass Act33/34 clearances are required.If qualified, click on I WANT TO APPLY and the employer will review resumes and contact for interviews.The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
